Purpose
As a Sales Executive AEB Childcare and Education, your role will involve engaging with employers, learners, various agencies to promote the Adult Education budget within the Childcare and Education sector.
We need you to be a key part of the sector growth strategy, this role is pivotal to the success of our team and we are looking for people who take that seriously.
You will be joining a very well established and successful team who are passionate about their sector and want the best for the learners they support. This means creating opportunities that are suitable and offer real progression.
Key Responsibilities:
• Ongoing new business development and sales activity
• Work strategically, using various tools to discover new business avenues and to develop relationships with new employers
• Meeting KPI’s and revenue targets to support growth of the sector
• Understand employer/learner needs to offer the best service
• Developing a strategic sales plan.
• Working with internal stakeholders to ensure the best outcome for employers including marketing, business development, learner recruitment and operational teams

Competencies:
•Complex stakeholder management: Ability to manage complex stakeholder arrangements through clear and robust operating procedures and clear performance management approaches.
•Quality: A robust understanding of the quality and policy landscape of Adult Education and Apprenticeship delivery, including the impact of End Point Assessment organisations and internal / external audit and inspection.
•Learner and Employer Experience: A strong empathy with both the learners and line managers who are likely to use the service, along with a solution focuses approach to effectively address challenges and achieving positive outcomes.
•Leadership: Strong leadership skills to ensure that you are an ambassador to build solid relationships and drive Inspire Learning and Employment's quality strategy.
•Relationships: Ability to build key relationships both within Inspire, and with key external stakeholders and delivery partners. This role engages with multiple stakeholders with differing requirements, and you will be expected to effectively manage these relationships to achieve the overall purpose.

Qualifications & Experience
Below are the qualifications and experience we will look for in a successful candidate:
Qualifications:
•English & Maths (Level 2 GCSE or equivalent) or complete within 6 months in role
Experience:
• Experience of successful sales calls and face to face meetings
• 1-2 years of B2B sales experience with a proven track record of delivering consistent results
• Experience in selling apprenticeships within the childcare and education sector (desirable but not essential)
• Experience with work-based learning environment.
• Experience in relevant sector
• Good understanding of ESFA funding rules
• Sound understanding of the Education Inspection Framework
• Adult Education and Apprenticeship specific experience
• Experience in working closely with awarding organisations
• Experience in leading a team
Skills:
• Highly motivated to build a client base from scratch.
• Positive can do attitude and a positive mind-set to achieving targets
• Ability to build external relationships with potential new clients from the onset
• Matrix working internally with various departments, working as one team to support growth.
