Apprenticeship Development Coach – Home based – with potential for some travel when required
Salary is negotiable up to approx £38k (Negotiable)
OVERVIEW
Our client is a well established Training Provider organisation who deliver a range of Apprenticeships, including the Leadership and Management and Coaching Professional standards.
They currently have a vacancy for an Apprenticeship Assessor / Development Coach to join their organisation to deliver the Operations/Departmental Manager and Coaching Professional Level 5 standards.
This will be a home based / remote role involving occasional travel as required. The majority of the delivery of these Apprenticeship standards is remote, so location isn’t important – you just need to be flexible to travel when required.
CANDIDATE PROFILE
- Assessing qualification (Level 3) e.g. TAQA or A1
- Relevant teaching qualification (Minimum level 3 award in Education and Training)
- Ideally a Level 5 Management qualification and a Level 5 Coaching qualification
- Experience of delivering the Leadership and Management or Coaching Professional standards – ideally both.
- Excellent IT skills that include Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook
- Level 2 Functional Skills English, Maths and ICT
- Strong experience of working in senior management positions
THE ROLE
Acting as a workplace mentor and specialist coach. Helping to develop and shape sustainable managers for the future through a robust and innovative training and development programme, moulded to suit employer requirements. Delivering new apprenticeship standards: Operations/Departmental Manager and Coaching Professional.
Responsibilities will include:
- Training, assessing and delivering Apprenticeship Standards in Operations / Departmental Manager and Coaching Professional (L5).
- Support learners through their Functional Skills Maths and English to Level 2.
- Conduct study groups and 1-1 sessions, both online and face-to-face with Managers.
- Classroom based delivery to develop workplace knowledge and skills as part of learner apprenticeships
- Identify learners starting points to set personalised and stretching learning plans to motivate and inspire learners to achiever and progress towards their career aspirations
- Conduct workplace assessments to monitor learner development, generating evidence to assist with the Gateway and EPA phase
- Manage and maintain a thorough record of the learner journey, ensuring full compliance with the ESFA funding rules
