Hours: 28 hours per week

Salary: Up to £20,358 pro rata per annum

( Salary is dependent on level of qualification and experience)

Employability & Progression Department at SGS College has an excellent reputation for delivering outstanding training to Level 1 students who may have had a bad experience of education previously or feel anxious about education. Our learners need innovative and creative support to encourage and engage their learning. To maintain the growth of provision within our department and to support various new projects, we are looking for a self-motivated individual who can confidently support our Level 1 Enterprise learners who have an EHCP or require additional support for a variety of reasons.

Key Tasks and Responsibilities

To support students in achieving their goals and qualifications in an agreed range of settings. To work collaboratively with teaching staff and others to support learner progress and achievement through 1:1 or group support in an agreed range of settings (in the classroom and online). To adapt/modify some curriculum materials as necessary. To use the restorative approach when working with learners.
