KM Recruitment is pleased to be recruiting on behalf of a leading training provider, who are currently looking to recruit an experienced Sales and Marketing Manager based in Cardiff. 

Duties Include:

  • With a particular focus on Social Media, PR, Marketing and Sales you will have overall responsibility for leading and managing our clients sales and marketing activity, to raise company brand, promote the full offering of training products and services available and successfully achieve sales targets.  
  • Create new and grow existing client relationships.
  • Responsible for managing a team of sales staff – managing performance in-line with revenue targets across work based learning and commercial recruitment.
  • Carry out regular reviews with team and identify any areas for development.
  • Oversee new product launches to ensure best possible engagement.
  • Create and distribute press releases, blogs, and case studies to increase company profile.
  • Engage with external advertising and media outlets (radio/tv) to promote the company and secure a range of PR opportunities.
  • Responsible for overseeing all learner and customer online and face to face events.
  • Identify events the company can attend to in order to promote portfolio of products and services.
  • Create innovative campaigns.
  • Work with members of the team to ensure company marketing material, social media content and company website is consistently positive, engaging, original, contains regular posts, and is suited to target market.
  • Work with team to review and improve if necessary, the user-experience of the website.
  • Monitor company engagement levels to make improvements where required.
  • Review and ensure social media activities contribute effectively towards achievement of sales targets.
  • Ensure all marketing and sales activity is compliant.

Essential Criteria:

  • Must hold experience of working within a Sales / Marketing Manager role – ideally within the training industry.
  • Proven experience of leading, creating and implementing marketing plans.
  • Experience of managing a small team
  • Experience of engaging with target audiences and creating effective campaigns across a variety of platforms.
  • Excellent understanding of online and offline marketing practices.
  • Ability to create good working relationships
  • Confident, friendly and professional manner.
  • Full, clean driving licence and own vehicle.
  • Must be flexible with travel across Wales

Desirable Criteria

  • Ideally hold experience of working within a similar role within the work based learning industry.
  • Ideally hold a Degree in Marketing (or equivalent).
  • Ideally hold an ILM L5 Leadership and Management qualification (or equivalent)
  • Ideally Welsh speaking
