Salary: £30,714 per annum

Hours: 37 hours per week/52 weeks per year

This is an exciting new role, reporting to the Information Services & Reporting Manager. We are seeking an enthusiastic, dedicated and well-motivated individual, who possesses appropriate qualifications and/or relevant experience in data management processes and in producing reports from information systems.

You will be responsible for the creation and maintenance of key business intelligence reports for Blackburn College, using a variety of software practices to support the strategic vision of the College. You will supervise the reporting team, and the continuous improvement of the reporting intelligence across College, including the reporting dashboard.

It is essential that the successful applicant possesses a degree in a relevant subject or equivalent vocational qualification and be competent in the use of SQL Server Reporting Services and SQL Server Management Studio. Experience of using reporting solutions to meet complex business needs and improve efficiency and working with complex relational databases is also essential. You should also have recent knowledge and experience of SQL scripting, ProAchieve/ProGeneral, ILR and funding methodologies. Competency in the use of Oracle, Tribal EBS systems, 4Cast, Power BI and SSRS is desirable, as is experience of supervising staff.
