Job Title: Project Management Assessor / Trainer

Location: Yorkshire - Candidates must be flexible with travel

Salary: £30,000 - £32,000 (dependent on qualifications and experience)

Criteria:

  • Must hold a minimum of 2 years occupational experience in Project Management. 
  • Ideally hold a Teaching qualification: PTLLS, CTLLS, PGCE, CertEd (or equivalent).
  • Ideally hold a Project Management qualification
  • Knowledge of Scrum and Agile methodologies is also preferred
  • Full, clean UK driving licence and own vehicle
  • Must be flexible with travel

Duties:

  • Train, assess and deliver Apprenticeship Standards in Associate Project Management Level 4 (APM) via a blended learning approach (workshop, face to face, Skype and Webex / virtual learning). 
  • Deliver full training and support learners through their Functional Skills - Maths, English and ICT to level 2 where required.
  • Record professional discussions on specific units / topics based on knowledge, independent research and reflective accounts.
  • Lead informal discussions and exploration of latest trends and sharing experiences.
  • Manage a caseload of learners and observe learners in their place of work, to gather quality evidence towards their Apprenticeship qualifications, through to end-point assessment.
  • Plan and deliver effective training and assessment based on individual learner needs.
  • Organise and maintain documentation on learners' progress.
  • Support, advise and motivate learners.
  • Overcome barriers to learning and adapt delivery to meet learner’s needs.
  • Work to learner review and completion timescales.

Desirable Criteria:

  • Experience of delivering full qualifications in Project Management.
  • Hold own Project Management qualification at level 4 or above (APM, PMQ or Prince 2).
  • Ideally have understanding of Agile and Scrum methodologies, however our client is willing to up-skill candidates who are only experienced within Waterfall methodology. 
  • Experience of delivering group based training to learners.

  • Confident and professional with the ability to inspire and motivate people.
  • Quality driven and prepared to go the extra mile for your learners.
