Job Title: Lead Internal Verifier / IQA - Health and Social Care

Location: Home/Field based - Must be flexible with travel

Salary: £28,000 - £32,000 (Dependent on qualifications and experience)

Type: Full time, Permanent

The Role:

- Internal Verification / Quality Assurance of Health and Social Care qualifications up to Level 5.
- Coach, observe and develop field based Assessors and give feedback to support the delivery of quality teaching and learning.
- Implement action plans to ensure Assessors are delivering training to a high standard, and CPD is up to date.
- Conduct standardisation sessions with Assessors ensuring awarding organisation, EPA and company quality objectives and targets are achieved.
- Produce reports for senior management based on Assessor performance, gradings and learner progression, against agreed learning plans.
- Develop, plan and execute effective quality assurance audit systems, monitoring & review processes and company policies & procedures.
- Update and maintain sampling plans in line with company and awarding organisations requirements.
- Drive and promote continuous quality improvement and outstanding teaching and learning.
- Monitor compliance and targets against learner attendance, learner journey and progression.
- Responsible for the management and coordination of internal and external verification activities including standardisation.
- To ensure the timely achievement of learners.
- Contribute towards the Self-Assessment report.

Essential Criteria: 

- Recognised Internal Quality Assurance award (D34, V1, IQA, TAQA L4).
- Must have experience of working as an IQA within Health and Social Care up to Level 5.
- Current working knowledge of quality improvement processes and Ofsted requirements.
- Knowledge of End Point Assessment and Apprenticeships Frameworks/Standards.
- Must hold relevant occupational competency within Health and Social Care.
- Full, clean, UK driving licence and use of a vehicle.
- Must be flexible with travel.
