Chef Trainer - South West (Regional Role) - £30,000 - £32,000 depending upon previous training experience and qualifications / Pension, laptop, mobile phone, continual professional development.

The Role: Chef Trainer

• You will be utilising your extensive background as a Chef who has worked in top end restaurants to train the next generation of Commis Chefs, Chef De Partie, Senior Kitchen Production Staff
• You will be delivering a level 2 and 3 Chef Apprenticeship programme to learners who work in very prestigious, five-star restaurants and hotels. You will be using the New Standards delivery style which means meeting your learners once a month and delivering practical and classroom-based training sessions
• You will be based at home, but travelling mainly within the South West to meet with your learners once a month, but occasionally where clients have multi-site operations, you may be travelling a little further afield. If so, you will be provided with hotel accommodation which will be paid for by the client. You, therefore, need to be able to drive and have your own vehicle
• The role will be full time, mainly office hours but you will be expected to be a little flexible to fit in with busy kitchens.
• A DBS check prior to commencement of role is required.

Essential Requirements: Chef Trainer

• You will possess a minimum of a level 3 catering industry related qualification
• You will have a background working as a Chef within top end restaurants so you possess excellent culinary skills and have confidence in passing on your skills to others
• You will have previously trained up to level 3 Chef Skills such as Commis Chef, Chef De Partie, Senior Kitchen Production Staff
• You will be previously have trained Chef apprentices for four and five-star restaurants and therefore you will be extremely well presented and professional in everything you do
• You will possess a formal training or assessing qualification and have experience of delivering The New Apprenticeship Standards
