We are currently looking to recruit a Progression officer to work for leading training provider in the Manchester area. The role of the Progression Officer is to be responsible for contacting employers and learners to establish if they are in work or have achieved a job outcome since completing their training.
The Placement Officer will establish and maintain positive relationships, speak with learners and employers to maintain job outcomes for learning completing distance learning programmes.
Key Responsibilities:
• Overall responsibility for ensuring the company exceeds its 40% progression target
• Ownership of the destination data and the distance learning outcome profile.
• Complete weekly reports on the progression of all distance learners
• Supporting the compliance team to ensure they receive high quality progression data.
• Source possible apprenticeship providers for any learners requiring this route of progression.
• Collect employer confirmation of any learner that has an “in work” progression.
• Offer learners a progression route in “further learning” if applicable.
Experience & Knowledge:
• Candidates must have experience in the private training sector and be able to demonstrate that they can self-manage and achieve results
• A track record of high performance with sales teams
• Evidence of being able to win new business
• Be results focused and driven
• Strong organisational skills and be driven to achieve results
