Location flexible – role can be based from home with regular travel to HQ in Stafford or based permanently in Stafford.
Salary £40K to £52K per annum dependent upon experience

About the role
We are seeking an experienced Quality Manager, where you will:
• Provide a robust quality strategy supported by the production and maintenance of associated policies, procedures and processes
• Have line management responsibility for the claims and audit function
• Work with the Quality Compliance Board in order to achieve both business and team objectives

You will also own the achievement and maintenance of Ofsted Grade 2 and demonstrate activities which work towards Ofsted Grade 1. Another key part of the role is to keep an accurate and up to date Self-Assessment Report (SAR) and Quality Improvement Plan in place which is continuously used as a tool to drive and demonstrate measurable, continuous improvement activity.
You will work from home and/or our HQ in Stafford, managing your own diary and visiting stakeholders around the country to support the development of our supply-chain partners, so you must be flexible to travel and hold a driving licence. All travel costs to offices other than your base will be covered
You will be supported throughout your career and we will ensure that your personal development is regularly reviewed, assessed, discussed and improved upon with realistic milestones set for you to achieve and surpass.
We work in partnership with employers, schools, academy trusts and Local Authorities to provide specialist expertise including apprenticeship programmes covering Leadership & Management and Education specialisms. What you will do:
• Being the resident expert in relation to Ofsted and fully conversant with the Common Inspection Framework (CIF) and associated guidance - ensuring these standards are fully embedded within practice, processes, delivery and programme development
• Keeping abreast of strategy and business objectives and embedding these into the Quality Strategy, and leading on all auditable activity in relation to quality standards and accreditations
• Devising, establishing and maintaining all quality procedures, standards and specifications in relation to both quality and health and safety
• Monitoring performance by gathering relevant data and producing statistical reports, making suggestions for changes and improvements and how to implement them
• Using relevant quality tools to ensure managers and other staff understand how to improve the business, scheduling and leading mock inspection activity
• Carrying out observations of teaching and learning (OTL), facilitating CPD and Best Practice Events

Your experience will include:
• DTLLS/PGCE/Cert Ed/Level 5 Diploma in Education and Training or equivalent
• Experience of Ofsted inspections with the ability to evaluate a broad spectrum of learning practice and make sound, evaluative judgements on that practice in line with Ofsted requirements
• Experience of virtual learning platforms, approaches and methodologies and blended learning solutions with excellent quality assurance knowledge with proven delivery of quality improvement and an excellent learner experience
• Experience of managing and leading a team
• Experience of developing high quality teaching materials and resources
• Preferably hold D32, 33, 34/A1, V1 or TAQA certification or qualifications
• DBS Certificate to advanced level – we will obtain one if offered the role if not up to date if not part of the update service
