Job Title: MIS / Exams Manager

Location: Based in South Yorkshire or Manchester – Must be flexible with travel

Salary: £35,000 - £40,000 (dependent on experience)

Duties include (but are not limited to):

  • Manage and support the MIS and Exams team to ensure data is reliable and up to date, managing performance and quality effectively.
  • Maintain internal databases to ensure that data is secure and compliant against all regulatory and statutory requirements.
  • Manage and deliver reliable information, including reports from various systems such as PICs and ProAchieve.
  • Devise an internal audit process to measure the accuracy of learner data and report to the SMT on a regular basis
  • Manage the timely preparation and submission of data required for stakeholders and funding organisations.
  • Schedule system maintenance and upgrades, and ensure minimal operational disruptions.
  • Identify any internal training and development needs for staff, and deliver relevant training on how to use data systems.
  • Carry out regular internal audits to ensure learner data is accurate, regular reports are submitted, and identify any areas for improvement.
  • Liaise closely with awarding organisations regarding systems for learner registrations, as well as managing the budget for assessments and examinations.

Essential Criteria:

  • Proven experience of working within a similar MIS / Exams Management role, within the work based learning industry.
  • Must hold own IT qualification (ECDL or equivalent).
  • Proven experience in using PICS, and various other learner management systems.
  • Strong understanding of database concepts and management.
  • Strong knowledge of funding and audit practice and requirements.
  • Strong awareness of Quality and Compliance.
  • Excellent time management, organisation, and communication skills.
  • Able to work under pressure and on own initiative.
  • Full, clean driving licence and own vehicle (Must be flexible with travel)
