Salary: £26,000 - £30,000 (Dependent upon Experience)

*Trainee Opportunity* 
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Accountant, who is looking for that next step on the career ladder.
Full training and support will be given to Trainee candidates to achieve the Assessors award and Teaching qualifications.

Essential Criteria for all candidates:

  • Must hold an AAT level 3 as a minimum.
  • Must hold solid occupational competency within Accountancy.
  • Confident with 1-1 and group delivery.
  • Full, clean driving licence and use of a vehicle.
  • Must be flexible with travel.


Duties include: 

  • Assess and deliver AAT / Accountancy qualifications Levels 2, 3 and 4. 
  • Delivering classroom / group based training to learners, along with field based Assessments in the learners place of work.
  • Work closely with the team and employer to plan and create lesson plans / resources, ensuring a high level of quality teaching and learning.
  • Managing your diary efficiently to ensure timely visits and reviews are conducted.
  • Provide guidance, support and encouragement to learners throughout their journey.
  • Provide progress feedback to learners/employers and provide support to ensure they meet their set goal / target.
  • Organise and maintain documentation on learners' progress.
  • Overcome barriers to learning and adapt delivery to meet learner’s needs.
  • Assessors are expected to take part in Learner Recruitment to maintain own caseload, this will include generating recruits for the Apprenticeship programme by carrying out business development activities.

  • Organisational skills are a must, as well as the ability to plan your time effectively.
  • Confident and professional with the ability to inspire and motivate people.
  • Quality driven and prepared to go the extra mile for your learners.
