Job Title: PMO and BIT Assessor / IQA

Location: North West: Home / Field / Online (Must be flexible with travel to other UK locations)

Salary: £30,000 - £40,000 (Dependent upon Qualifications and Experience) + Bonus

Type: Full time, Permanent

Essentials to apply;

  • Must be a qualified and experienced Assessor of PMO and BIT to Level 3.
  • Must hold a recognised Internal Verifier qualification; D34, V1, IQA or TAQA L4.
  • Must hold a recognised teaching qualification – as a minimum: PTLLS or equivalent
  • Candidates must hold teaching / training delivery experience – not just holistic assessment.
  • Candidates must be happy and flexible with delivering training via a range of methods including; 1-1, group based and skype / online.
  • Full, clean driving licence and use of a vehicle.
  • North West Based - with National travel approx twice per month

Assessor Duties:

  • Deliver high quality training / assessment of Apprenticeships in BIT (Business Improvement Techniques) and PMO (Performing Manufacturing Operations) to Level 3 - Using a variety of assessment methods including; 1-1 / Groups / Virtual and Online learning.
  • Provide training and support to learners completing Functional Skills (Maths, English and ICT) as part of the Apprenticeship framework.
  • Plan and deliver effective training and assessment based on individual learner needs.
  • Organise and maintain documentation on learners' progress.
  • Overcome barriers to learning and adapt delivery to meet learner’s needs.
  • Work to learner review and completion timescales.

IQA Duties:

  • Internal Verification / Quality Assurance of BIT and PMO Apprenticeships.
  • Develop, update and maintain sampling plans in line with company and awarding organisations requirements.
  • Drive and promote continuous quality improvement.
  • Provide support and carry out observations to ensure an outstanding level of assessment, teaching and learning is achieved.
  • Attend / conduct regular standardisation meetings.
  • Produce reports based on performance, gradings and learner cohort progression, against agreed learning plans.
  • Assist in the planning and running of external quality assurance and compliance visits.
  • Ability to write reports and maintain records using information systems
