Summary of Role
To design, deliver and evaluate training programmes which meet the needs of the business and learners. To ensure quality of service and excellent customer service, continuous professional development and timely achievement of learner goals and qualifications.

Main Duties:
- To work with the delivery team to identify relevant and appropriate opportunities for design, delivery, evaluation, and review of training interventions
- To plan, administer and deliver programmes for learners ensuring the delivery model is maintained and all aims and objectives are met
- To support learners to overcome barriers, supporting with confidence building and work life skills ready for placement/employment opportunities
- To contribute to the overall Team achievement of profiled learner outcomes
- To work with the delivery team to ensure that mainstream and bespoke training is planned, designed, delivered, reviewed and updated according to business and learner needs
- To deliver an outcome focused training experience to all learners ensuring that all activity complies with Educ8, Statutory and Awarding Body standards and requirements.
- To deliver a quality learning programme to take into account individual learner needs, abilities, lifestyle and interests, learning preferences, aspirations and plans, according to their individual needs, therefore fostering a good learning culture.
- To use a variety of teaching methods and appropriate resources to enable learners to maximize their learning and develop confidence and the ability to learn independently and in a group
- To give information, advice and guidance to learners as appropriate and encourage self development and progression
- To ensure personal learning plans are in place and reviewed regularly for each learner
- To promote a positive ethos, good behaviour and attendance for all learners within the programme
- To encourage occupational development of your learners via ongoing learning and development and promotion of Educ8 services.
- To encourage, monitor and report on learner involvement within your role highlighting innovation and positive practice
- To maintain comprehensive and accurate records regarding all aspects of job roles as required

Person Qualities:
- Impressive, demonstrable track record and skills/experience gained within a similar position(s), at a similar level
- Credible and confident communicator (written and verbal) at all levels
- Excellent presentation skills
- Passionate about achieving high levels of excellence
- Highly energised and motivated with a high level of commitment
- Hands-on approach and ‘can do’ attitude
- Self-motivated, with the ability to work proactively using own initiative
- Committed to learning and development

Essential:
Experience of workshop approach
Experience of delivering employability training
Competence in using Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint demonstrated by holding or working towards an ECDL Qualification or equivalent
Train the Trainer or equivalent

Desirable/Developmental:
- Knowledge and experience of training needs analysis
- Knowledge and experience of training planning
- A1 Award/ V1 award/ D32, D33, D34
- Experience in assessment
- Level 5 Basic Skills
