An exciting opportunity has arisen within this private training provider, looking for a Curriculum and Performance Manager within the WBL and Training sector. This is a new role created by growth generated by the changes and opportunities under the new apprenticeship funding rules. The role involves high functioning communications with employers, colleagues and work-based trainers working remotely, awarding bodies and funding organisations. We are looking for someone to drive change in a positive and influential manner, whilst empowering WBL delivery staff to deliver excellence for their learners, taking the provider from a Ofsted good to outstanding! Curriculum and Performance Manager: The essentials.

• Knowledge of government funded employment and training programmes
• An understanding of apprenticeship funding (ESFA) and rules
• Understanding of new apprenticeship standards (including trailblazer standards and EPA)
• Knowledge of awarding body guidelines and Ofsted criteria


Curriculum and Performance Manager: Your experience.

• Experience of delivery staff performance management and staff forecasting
• Experience of monitoring learner performance and progress
• Experience of developing curriculums, schemes of work and learning resources
• Experience of leading on Quality Improvement Plans (QIPs)


Curriculum and Performance Manager: The desirables.

• Experience of leading with Ofsted inspection
• Experience of developing Quality processes and procedures

Continuously growing on a National basis, they are looking for experts within the field to join their fantastic team and progress alongside the company.


Curriculum and Performance Manager: The role.

• Within this newly created role, you will be responsible for curriculum development within the apprenticeship programmes along with performance management across the business and some quality management aspects.
• You will monitor staff caseloads ensuring that all learners are progressing well in all areas of their programme and ensuring timely action is taken when not, to ensure that yearly overall and timely achievement rates exceed national average.
• To manage performance of all delivery staff, ensuring that performance indicators are met.
• To manage the development of curriculums and learning resources for each apprenticeship delivered.
• Supporting the interpretation and translation of requirements of new apprenticeship standards.
• Support, amend and manage quality processes to ensure quality and compliance standards are maintained to the highest standard in line with Ofsted/ESFA/Awarding Bodies and other stakeholders and leading on quality improvement planning.
• £30k - £35k (DOE & Qualifications - can be negotiable for the right candidate)
