Principal Teachers has a requirement for a KS2 teacher to commence a full time post in a Richmond primary school. We are seeking to short list candidates, who would be suitable for our client school’s Year 4 and 5 Class Teacher vacancy. The position is available to start as soon as possible on an on going basis. The successful candidate will be required to work together with the KS2 team to plan, teach and assess in order to drive results forward in KS2. The Head Teacher is seeking a professional, who can instil a love of learning through the delivery of a stimulating and enriching curriculum that caters to the needs of a diverse class. As the class teacher, you will be able to motivate pupils in this mixed age and mixed ability class to achieve their full potential by creating learning environment that is equally challenging and supportive.

This successful primary school is based in an area close to Richmond. The school has excellent facilities and resources, which you will gain full access to upon appointment. You will have a full time TA in class and therefore, you will need to deploy your TA effectively to support teaching and enhance pupil learning. Behaviour across the school is good and you will need to fully embrace the school’s behaviour management policy and ethos in order to uphold standards. The Head Teacher is seeking a professional, who can plan meticulously and confidently assess in order to inform personalised target setting for Year 4 and 5 children. You will need to demonstrate your ability to cater to the needs of children with varying levels of ability as well as those identified as having SEN.

The successful applicant will have:

* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) recognisable in the UK
* Strong behaviour and classroom management skills
* Previous experience of teaching in the UK
* Knowledge of the current Primary National Curriculum requirements for KS2
* Enthusiasm for the role and a creative flare
* The ability to form excellent working relationships with staff and pupils from a diverse range of backgrounds
* Experience of planning and assessment to a very high standard
* A commitment to improving attainment for all students
* A proven track record for raising attainment and achieving targets
