Job Role:�Bid / Tender Writer – Training & Education

Location:�Home / Field Based – Must be flexible with NATIONAL travel

Salary:�£35,000 - £40,000 (Dependent upon experience)

Role Includes:

- Develop and submit high quality tender proposal across our client’s Skills/ Apprenticeship divisions, including large Levy proposals in a timely manner and to a high standard.
- Work with internal and external partners and supply chain to support proposals and identify and work on tender opportunities.
- Complete research activities and share findings with the team on potential business opportunities.
- Make recommendations on all opportunities on viable proposals to progress with tendering.
- Coordinate own day to day activity, project manage and develop bid strategy.
- Ensure business proposals meet all relevant specifications; are in line with the most recent research available and best practice; and are compliant with funding requirements.
- Scope, co-ordinate, prepare / submit bids and business growth proposals in line with business growth strategy.
- Record bid opportunities to ensure reports on targets, business performance and pipeline can be created.
- Create bids and meet business objectives based on agreed financial budgets.

Essential Criteria

- At least 3 year's experience of bid writing / tendering process within Work Based Learning / Apprenticeships.
- Must have experience of writing / creating large Levy proposals
- Experience of planning and leading major bidding rounds.
- Bid, proposal and report writing skills.
- Knowledge and understanding of Government WBL.
- Solid track record of submitting and winning bids.
- Financial and commercial awareness.
- Competent IT user.
- Full, clean driving licence and own vehicle.
- Must be flexible with NATIONAL travel.
