My client is one of the UK's leading and most innovative grade 2 training providers. They deliver Logistics training from Driver CPC Training to Apprenticeships. They work with logistics and utility companies, military and government departments, local authorities, national corporations to small businesses and the self-employed.

Main purpose of role:
Working within the Apprenticeship division a central planning role matching apprenticeship training programme needs with the efficient use of our resources. Managing the coordination of apprenticeship recruitment supporting our client’s business needs.

Plan, schedule and organise training programmes. Assign appropriate resources (staff, associates, subcontractors, facilities, equipment)

Provide support for the wider mobilisation / operational delivery / admin teams, ensuring all day to day activities are completed accurately / on-time

Responsible for the performance and management of the Learner Recruitment Officers

Key responsibilities:

• Maintain a trainer / assessor database which can be used to match course requirements with suitable trainers
Trainer and Learner Recruitment Officer Availability
• Maintain a database of training facility locations (client, our own, offices etc)
• Ensure the default, optimum programmes are up to date for each training product
• Once programmes have been agreed with a client and the default (optimum) product delivery ‘template’ has been checked, the process of actually scheduling the actual course can begin
• Using the trainer and resource databases assign resources to each training programme / client ensuring both the commercial and quality parameters are met
• Co-ordinate contingency arrangements for out of hours and when trainers cannot make planned training
Student / Programme Information
• Working with the student on-boarding team and mobilisation/account managers, provide welcome information, course schedules, contact information
• Manage the coordination for the recruitment of apprentices
• Arranging advertisements to attract top talent
• Sifting and screening applicants
• Organising assessments days and interviews

Person Specification:

• minimum C in 5 GCSE’s including Maths and English
Knowledge/skills/ experience:
• Minimum of 1 year in a planning / organisational type role
• Excellent relationship building skills
• Communications and customer service skills
• Excellent organisational skills
• Proficient in Microsoft office software
• Knowledge of Apprenticeships and of working within a training or college environment advantageous

Salary on offer is £18000 - £23000 depending on qualifications and experience + 25 days AL + Bank holidays
