Job Title: Clinical Healthcare Assessors (x2)

Contract: Full-Time, Fixed Term 18 Months

Salary: £21,925 - £23,797

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Clinical Healthcare Assessor. The successful applicant will be expected to ensure candidates meet the standards required to achieve their qualifications as specified by the Awarding Organisation.� They will assist candidates with their portfolio building and to carry out assessment, underpinning knowledge and feedback and also undertake internal quality assurance (IQA) duties, as outlined by the Awarding Organisation and directed by the Line Manager.

The person appointed will possess a relevant occupational qualification is required, which should be at least one level above the level being assessed as well as a relevant and recognised assessor qualification.� S/he will also have a clean driving licence and access to own transport since travel is integral to this role.

Key Responsibilities

-������ To support candidates working towards their qualification

-������ To assist in the delivery of underpinning knowledge through workshops or in the work place

-������ To ensure candidates meet the standards required to achieve their qualifications as specified by the Awarding Organisation.

-������ To ensure College targets for enrolment, attendance, retention, successful completion and learner satisfaction are met, in accordance with the College’s key performance indicators (KPIs)

-������ To work within the quality framework of the programme to ensure candidates successfully complete their qualifications within an appropriate time scale.

-������ To assist in preparing for and responding to external verification (EV) visits.

-������ To assist candidates with their portfolio building and to carry out assessment, underpinning knowledge and feedback as specified by the Awarding Organisation (AO).

-������ To ensure all necessary assessment and administration is completed on time, to fulfil the College and Awarding Organisation’s Quality Assurance (QA).
