This is an exciting opportunity for a skilled, enthusiastic and ambitious Class Teacher to join the friendly and hardworking staff in this successful well resourced junior school. The successful candidate will work within this supportive environment to contribute to the success of their students and the development of the curriculum area up to Key Stage 2.

My client is looking for someone who shares there values and ethos can think on their feet, cares about the development of the whole child and is willing to go the extra mile.

Duties and Responsibilities:

*Plan, prepare and teach lessons of the highest quality
*Motivate, enthuse, excite and challenge students to produce the highest quality work
*Contribute to the writing and implementation of the subject’s Development Plan
*Set high expectations for students behaviour, learning and motivation
*Respond to professional development opportunities and work within the school’s Continuing Professional Development Framework, including ICT developments
*Ensure that Health and Safety policies and practices are in place
*Good communication with parents colleagues and governors
*Support departmental and school approaches to assessment, recording and reporting
*Set work for students absent from school for health and safety or disciplinary reasons

Minimum requirements:

*QTS, Degree; PGCE or equivalent qualification
*Experience teaching KS2
*Evidence of professional development
