Smile Education are a Crown Commercial Services (CCS) approved supplier; we are currently searching for a Year 2 Teaching Assistant to join this large primary situated in north Birmingham.

We are currently seeking a Year 2 Teaching Assistant, available from January 2022. This is a full-time role expected to last until the end of the academic year, with the possibility of extending into September. The successful applicant will be supporting intervention groups in the run up to SATs exams with a focus on bridging gaps in learning. Applicants should be comfortable in providing intervention support to lower ability pupils in addition to pupils with SEND.

This school is in proximity to Nechells, Aston, Saltley, Alum Rock and Birmingham City Centre. Our client records above average attainment across Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2.

To be successful in your application, you should have experience in one or more of the following:

• Hold a relevant UK teaching assistant qualification- for example Supporting Teaching & Learning in Schools.

• Knowledge of the UK Primary Curriculum

• Able and willing to travel to the Birmingham area

• Exceptionally dedicated to supporting pupils achieve the very best through an all-inclusive curriculum
