Capel Manor College is the only College in London that aims to deliver outstanding and inspirational and environmental land-based learning opportunities across the Greater London region. Our most recent Ofsted report rated the College "good" with good effectiveness of leadership and management. Aspiring to excellence, the College has an excellent reputation for quality, is financially strong and has continuous growth in student numbers. Fundamental to the College's forward-thinking strategy is support for the environment and food supply in Greater London and the southeast

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced and enthusiastic person to join the team at Capel in delivering dog grooming courses.

The successful candidate will have a relevant qualification and experience in dog grooming, demonstrating knowledge and passion for dog grooming. Candidates should be able to demonstrate significant professional experience working with dogs and an excellent standard of work from the beginning through to the finished product. Experience working with canines and within the dog grooming industry is essential and a network of contacts that can support the learners and the course is desirable. The motivation to look forward, research, develop and implement new concepts and ideas in this specialist area is key to future credibility and student success.

The ideal candidate will have a passion for teaching and for sharing their knowledge and experience with the next generation. They will be supportive of all students and believe in the college's core values in nurturing a positive learning environment with equal opportunity and diversity at its core. Flexible working hours as some weekend work will be required. Good administrative skills will be required to underpin the more creative aspects of teaching and learning. The motivation to work supportively within a team, value and respect others at all times and enthusiastically pursue continual personal development are essential characteristics of the person we are looking to employ.
