Health and Social Care Assessor Training Adviser (Level 5)
Office based in St Helens to cover Merseyside.
Salary: up to £25,000 per annum
£0.45 P per business mile.
25 days holiday which will increase to 27 days depending on how many years’ service.

Our client is an award winning company who’s passionate about developing people. They currently have a vacancy for an experienced Training Adviser to deliver Apprenticeships and classroom based training courses in Adult Health and Social Care
They work with a range of public and private sector clients to develop both new and existing staff through the apprenticeship programme.

Applicants must have experience of delivering the full Apprenticeship Framework including delivering within a classroom setting and Functional Skills in Maths, English and IT. You will hold TAQA Assessor and Verifier qualifications or equivalent and have a teaching qualification.
Whilst being based in St Helens you will be required to travel across Merseyside and surrounding areas so the use of a car is essential.
An enhanced DBS check is a requirement for this role.

1. Deliver the full Apprenticeship framework to learners, including functional skills in Maths, English and ICT.

2. Monitor, support and assess learners’ progress against the agreed Individual Learning Plan.

3. Deliver innovative class room based sessions for both unemployed and employed people.

4. Build respectful and trusting relationships with learners, especially with those who face difficulties and disadvantage in training and work.

5. Agree and implement action plans with individual learners, finding the best ways to help them achieve qualifications, develop confidence and overcome barriers to remaining on programme.

6. Meet set targets relating to overall success rate, including achievement, retention and the measure of timeliness.

7. Comply with contractual and company obligations and carry out learner reviews every four weeks, including the monitoring of health and safety and equal opportunities.

8. Keep accurate learner and company records to include records of company visits, reviews, actions plans, registers, ILP and evaluations.

9. Work with employers to identify potential training opportunities and to promote and raise awareness of training initiatives currently on offer.

10. Be responsible for promoting and safeguarding the welfare of young people and vulnerable adults on the training programme

11. Support the implementation of an annually revised Self Assessment Report and Quality Improvement Action plan to aid continuous improvement.

12. Undertake Membership Management activities and to promote company

13. Maintain all Evolutive or other records accurately and be able to provide relevant information specifically on outputs and outcomes of the work undertaken

14. Follow the quality procedures laid down by the company and work with the organisation to ensure that recognition under the following accreditation standards is maintained; IiP, ISO 9001; 2015, BCC Accreditation etc.

15. Carry out other duties as may be requested by Senior Management.
