If you have a proven track record in supporting the well-being of young minds, your role as a Youth Support Worker in the capacity of a Teaching Assistant is the perfect blend of expertise.

Roles and Responsibilities:

Mental Health Focus: Provide dedicated support to children, with a primary emphasis on their mental health and emotional well-being.

Collaborative Learning Environment: Collaborate closely with teaching staff to create and maintain a supportive and inclusive learning environment.

One-on-One Assistance: Offer personalised, one-on-one assistance to students facing mental health challenges, ensuring their unique needs are addressed.

Behavioural Strategies: Implement effective strategies to promote positive behaviour and emotional resilience among students.

Interdisciplinary Collaboration: Work closely with school counsellors and external professionals to address specific mental health needs, fostering a holistic approach.

Previous experience as a youth worker or support worker for children is highly desirable.

Team Player: Collaborate effectively with teachers, staff, and parents to create a positive learning environment.

Excellent Communication: Engage with students and build strong rapport to facilitate learning.

Adaptability: Thrive in a dynamic educational setting, adapting to the unique needs of each student.


Experience working in schools would be advantageous.
