A welcoming primary school in Amesbury is seeking a caring and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to support children in Reception (Year R). This full-time role is to start in November 2025 and offers a fantastic opportunity to work closely with young learners at the start of their educational journey.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support pupils in Reception with learning, play, and personal development.
- Assist the class teacher with lesson preparation and classroom activities.
- Promote positive behaviour and emotional wellbeing.
- Help create a nurturing and inclusive learning environment.
Requirements:
- Experience working with early years or primary-aged children.
- A patient, warm, and proactive approach to supporting young learners.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- Availability to start in November and commit to full-time hours.
