Hours: Full-time, Monday-Friday
Empowering Learning are recruiting for a committed and enthusiastic Year 3 Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming primary school in Wythenshawe. This is a full-time position working across Key Stage 2, providing both classroom-based support and targeted small-group intervention.
The Role:
As a Year 3 Teaching Assistant, you will:
Support the class teacher with day-to-day classroom activities
Work closely with pupils to boost confidence, engagement and progress
Deliver small-group interventions in reading, writing and maths
Assist with behaviour support and promote positive learning attitudes
Contribute to a warm, inclusive and supportive learning environment
The School Are Looking For Someone Who:
Has previous experience supporting children in a primary setting (KS2 desirable)
Is confident building positive relationships with pupils
Can adapt support to meet varying needs and abilities
Has strong communication and teamwork skills
Is reliable, friendly and proactive in the classroom
