The Role - Full-Time Year 3 Teaching Assistant
We are looking for a Full-Time Year 3 Teaching Assistant to provide classroom support and 1:1 assistance to a Year 3 student in their academic journey at a primary school in Worcester. This role will start immediately and run until the end of the academic year in July, with potential for future opportunities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide general classroom support as a year 3 teaching assistant for Year 3 students, assisting with various lessons and activities.
- Offer 1:1 support to a Year 3 student, helping with their academic progress in subjects like English and Maths.
- Help with behavioural and emotional support, ensuring a positive learning environment.
- Collaborate with the class teacher to ensure all students receive the support they need.
About You:
- Previous experience as a Year 3 Teaching Assistant or in a similar role.
- Strong academic background in English and Maths, with knowledge of the Year 3 curriculum.
- Patient, proactive, and empathetic, with the ability to support both individual students and the classroom as a whole.
