Teaching Assistant (Year 1) - Primary School in Stockport

We are currently seeking a dedicated and experienced Teaching Assistant to work in a Year 1 class at a welcoming primary school in Stockport. This long-term, full-time role involves supporting a significant number of students with additional needs, offering a rewarding opportunity to make a real impact.
The Role:
- Position: Teaching Assistant
- Location: Stockport
- Class: Year 1
- Responsibilities:
- Providing 1:1 and small-group support for children with SEND.
- Assisting the teacher in delivering an inclusive and engaging curriculum.
- Helping to create a positive and supportive classroom environment.
- Supporting children's social, emotional, and academic development.
- Contract Type: Full-time, long-term.
- Pay Rate: 85 to 88 per day, depending on experience.
The Ideal Candidate:
We are looking for someone who:
- Has experience working with SEND children in a school setting, particularly in KS1.
- Holds a Level 2 or Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification (preferred).
- Is compassionate, proactive, and adaptable to different learning needs.
- Demonstrates excellent communication and organisational skills.
