We are seeking both qualified and unqualified tutors with extensive industry experience to join their dynamic team and deliver the Level 2 and Level 3 Diploma in IT and Telecoms.
 
About the Role:
As a Telecoms Tutor, you will have the unique opportunity to teach the BTEC Level 2/3 Diploma in Professional Competence for IT and Telecoms Professionals, playing a crucial role in shaping the careers of the next generation of telecommunications experts. This role is perfect for individuals with a strong industry background who are ready to inspire and guide learners through engaging, hands-on instruction.
 
We are willing to take on trainee's eager to enter the adult education sector.
 
Key Responsibilities:
  • Deliver Engaging Lessons: Provide high-quality, impactful instruction using a variety of teaching methods to keep learners motivated and engaged.
  • Lesson Planning: Organize and manage teaching schedules, utilizing available resources and facilities to deliver effective learning experiences.
  • Curriculum Development: Collaborate with academic teams to design, improve, and enhance course content and modules.
  • Student Support: Create a supportive learning environment that encourages critical thinking and personal growth.
  • Guidance and Mentoring: Offer support to learners on projects and assignments, providing direction to help them succeed.
  • Assessment: Evaluate and grade exams and coursework, delivering constructive feedback to guide learners’ progress.
  • Compliance: Adhere to Health and Safety, equality, and safeguarding policies, reporting any concerns as needed.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with academic staff to ensure students’ needs and expectations are met and exceeded.
 
Experience and Qualifications:
  • Telecommunications Qualification: A Level 3 qualification in Telecommunications or equivalent.
  • Teaching Experience: A teaching or assessor qualification is preferred, but extensive industry experience will also be considered.
  • Classroom Experience: Experience teaching in a classroom setting is advantageous.
  • Industry Expertise: A strong understanding of the telecommunications industry, with a desire to pass on your knowledge to the next generation.
