Role: Teaching Assistant
Start Date: Immediate
Duration: Full-time, long-term (until the end of the academic year)
Pay Range: .00 per day (dependent on experience)

Requirements:

  • Previous experience working with children or young people.
  • Possession of a valid DBS certificate registered on the update service.
  • A genuine passion for supporting the educational development of students.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with teachers, staff, and students.
  • Resilience, adaptability, and a positive attitude.

Responsibilities:

  • Providing support to students in the classroom, assisting with tasks and activities as directed by the teacher.
  • Working with individuals or small groups to reinforce learning concepts and provide additional assistance.
  • Helping to create a positive and inclusive learning environment for all students.
  • Assisting with the preparation and organisation of classroom materials and resources.
  • Supporting students with special educational needs or disabilities as required.
  • Collaborating with teachers to assess student progress and development.
  • Promoting positive behaviour and engagement among students.
  • Participating in school-wide activities and events as needed.
