Quantum Scholars are acting as an agency alongside a school who are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Teaching Assistant for a well-regarded secondary school in Portsmouth. This full-time position begins in September 2024 and will be intially until the end of the term with the potential to go permanent.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist teacher in the classroom, providing support to students with their learning and development.
- Help to create a positive and inclusive environment for all students.
- Support the preparation and organization of teaching materials and classroom activities.
- Provide one-on-one or small group support to students as needed.
- Work collaboratively with teachers and other staff members to ensure the well-being and progress of all students.
Requirements
- Experience working with children in an educational setting is preferred.
- A positive and proactive attitude, with a passion for supporting children's education and well-being.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Right to work in the UK is essential.
- Enhanced DBS check.
