SEN Teaching Assistant - Secondary
Location: Perry Barr, Birmingham - Easily accessible from Handsworth, Great Barr, Erdington, and Birmingham City Centre
Day Rate: (Apply online only)
Days: Monday to Friday (Term Time Only)
Start Date: Immediate / ASAP
Contract: Long-Term, Temp to Perm

Long Term Futures are seeking a dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant / Learning Support Assistant to join a supportive secondary school in Perry Barr. This role involves working with KS3 and KS4 pupils who require additional support, making it ideal for someone confident with behaviour management and passionate about inclusive education.

Your Role:
Provide effective 1:1 and small-group support for pupils with SEND
Help students access lessons using tailored strategies
Promote positive behaviour, engagement, and independence
Work closely with teachers to deliver interventions and daily classroom routines

We're Looking For:
Experience as a teaching assistant, teacher assistant, or SEN teaching assistant
Confidence supporting pupils with behavioural or learning needs
Calm, patient, and adaptable approach
Strong communication and relationship-building skills
Genuine passion for helping young people succeed in education
