Job Description

Teaching Assistant (Mornings Only) - Primary School in Barry

We are seeking a dedicated Teaching Assistant to join our lovely primary school in Barry on a part-time basis.

Working Hours: 8:45am - 12pm, Mon to Fri



About the Role:

  • Supporting the KS1 Classroom

  • Working closely with the class teacher to provide general classroom support

  • Assisting with group activities and individual learning

  • Creating a nurturing and supportive learning environment



About You:

  • Experience working within a primary school setting or supporting children in any capacity (school, nursery, youth work, or voluntary roles)

  • Passionate about supporting children's learning and development

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

  • DBS certificate (or willingness to obtain one)

  • Registered with the Education Workforce Council (EWC)
