The Role:
Vision for Education is seeking a dedicated and compassionate SEND Teaching Assistant to join a Mainstream Primary School in North Tyneside. This role involves providing 1:1 support and small group interventions to children with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND), helping them reach their full potential.
As part of a supportive and experienced team, you will assist the class teacher in delivering inclusive learning activities, managing behaviour, and creating a nurturing and engaging learning environment.
The Ideal Candidate:
Requirements:
- Experience working with children, particularly those with SEND.
- Passion for supporting primary school pupils in their learning and development.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively within a team.
- Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
