A lovely and welcoming primary school in Camden is seeking a Teaching Assistant to provide 1:1 support for a KS2 pupil from January. This full-time temporary role is ideal for someone who is patient, consistent and committed to helping pupils thrive both academically and emotionally.
- Role: Teaching Assistant (KS2 1:1)
- Start Date: Second week of January 2026
- Location: Camden, London
- Contract: Full time - temporary (January to the end of the academic year)
- Pay: 500 - 560 per week
Responsibilities
- As the Teaching Assistant, provide consistent 1:1 support to a KS2 pupil throughout the school day
- Work closely with the class teacher to adapt learning activities and resources
- Support engagement, focus and positive behaviour using agreed strategies
- Encourage independence, confidence and inclusion within the classroom
- Monitor progress and feedback observations to teaching staff
Requirements
- Experience working as a Teaching Assistant in a primary school setting
- Experience supporting pupils in KS2 or a similar age range
- Able to build positive, respectful and trusting relationships with pupils
- Calm, patient and proactive approach to learning and behaviour support
- Available full time from January for the duration of the role
