We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Level 1 Teaching Assistant to join a vibrant secondary school in the Doncaster area. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who is ready to make a difference in the classroom, working alongside teachers to create a positive and inclusive learning atmosphere.



Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist the classroom teacher in delivering lessons and providing tailored support to students.
  • Support individual and small groups of students, ensuring their educational and emotional needs are met.
  • Help students with a variety of abilities, including those with special educational needs (SEN).
  • Assist in the preparation of learning materials and resources.
  • Foster a positive and encouraging learning environment.
  • Supervise students during break times and assist with classroom management.


Requirements:

  • A genuine passion for working with young people and contributing to their educational development.
  • Previous experience working in an educational setting is desirable but not essential.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills.
  • A flexible and proactive approach to supporting teachers and students.
  • The ability to build rapport with students and staff alike.
  • A Level 1 Teaching Assistant qualification (or willingness to work towards it).
