The Role - Teaching Assistant
We are currently working with a school looking to appoint a positive and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant. For this Teaching Assistant role, the successful candidate will work alongside the class teacher to prepare and teach effective interventions. The successful Teaching Assistant must have a strong academic background and prior experience in mainstream education or in a specialist provision is an advantage. You must have a passion for working with children and some previous child-centred experience. As a Teaching Assistant, you will be responsible for assisting pupils with their social development, on an individual and group basis. You must have the highest expectation that every pupil will make sustained academic and personal progress.
