Tradewind Recruitment are working with a welcoming and supportive primary school in Bury, who are seeking a Key Stage 1 Teaching Assistant to join their team on a long-term basis.
The Role:
Supporting the class teacher within a KS1 classroom
Working with small groups and individual pupils to support phonics, reading, and maths
Assisting with classroom routines and positive behaviour management
Helping to create a nurturing, engaging, and inclusive learning environment
Supporting pupils' social and emotional development
The Ideal Candidate:
Experience working with primary-aged children (school or childcare setting)
A calm, patient, and encouraging approach
Confidence supporting early learning and phonics
Ability to work effectively as part of a team
Availability for a long-term role
