Role Overview: As a Teaching Assistant, you will assume a crucial role in supporting the teaching and learning process within the school. Your responsibilities will encompass aiding the class teacher, delivering one-on-one assistance to students, and fostering a constructive and inclusive learning atmosphere.

Requirements:

  • Prior experience working with children in a formal or informal capacity is a prerequisite.
  • A valid and up-to-date DBS certificate registered on the update service is required.
  • A sincere passion for education and a determination to have a positive influence on students' lives.
  • Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills.
  • The capability to collaborate effectively as part of a team, assisting the class teacher and cooperating with other staff members.
  • Strong behaviour management skills would be highly desirable for the role.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide one-on-one or small-group assistance to students, supporting them with their learning tasks.
  • Assist the class teacher in delivering lessons and managing classroom conduct.
  • Contribute to the development of a stimulating and inclusive learning environment.
  • Aid in the preparation of teaching materials and resources.
  • Provide feedback and report on student progress to the class teacher.
  • Support students with extra needs or learning challenges, customizing activities to cater to their specific needs.
  • Cultivate positive relationships with students, parents, and colleagues.

Remuneration: The remuneration for this position ranges from 85.00 to 100.00 per day, depending on experience and qualifications.
