Primary Teaching Assistant
Location: Harrow, HA3
Start Date: September 2025
Pay: 95- 110 per day (depending on experience)
Contract: Full-time Full academic year

Long Term Futures is proud to be supporting a dynamic and inclusive primary school in Harrow that is looking to appoint multiple Teaching Assistants for a September start. This well-established school places a strong emphasis on kindness, collaboration, and high expectations for every child.

The roles include general classroom support as well as 1:1 SEN support across Year 6, Year 4, and Year 2, with a mix of fixed year group roles and a floating TA post. Each role offers a unique opportunity to play a key part in delivering small group instruction, supporting pupil progress, and developing effective behaviour management strategies.

Available Positions:

  • Year 6 TA - SATs support, small group intervention, and in-class support
  • Year 4 TA - Supporting a mix of general class learning and pupils with additional needs
  • Year 2 Floating TA - Working flexibly across classes to deliver targeted support
  • SEN Support Roles - Providing dedicated 1:1 support for pupils with ASD, ADHD, and speech and language needs

The Ideal Candidate Will Have:

  • Experience working in a primary school or with children in educational settings
  • Confidence supporting a range of needs, particularly within SEN provision
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills
  • A proactive and patient approach to working with pupils who may require behaviour support
  • A passion for inclusive education and supporting individual development
  • A Level 2/3 TA qualification or a background in Psychology, Education, or Child Development is highly desirable.
