Location: Rotton Park, Birmingham B16.
Day Rate: 95 - 105
Days: Monday to Friday (Term Time Only)
Hours: 8:30 AM - 3:30 PM
Start Date: March 2025
Contract: Long-Term, Temp to Perm

Are you an experienced Level 3 Teaching Assistant looking for a rewarding role in a vibrant primary school? Long Term Futures are seeking a dedicated KS1 Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming mainstream primary school in the Rotton Park area. This long-term position comes with the potential to become permanent for the right candidate.

The Role:

  • Provide classroom support to KS1 students, assisting with learning activities and development.
  • Work closely with the class teacher to deliver engaging lessons and interventions.
  • Support children on a 1:1 basis or in small groups, helping with literacy and numeracy.
  • Assist in maintaining a positive and inclusive learning environment.
  • Monitor progress and provide feedback to teachers and parents where necessary.

What We're Looking For:

  • A Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification (or equivalent).
  • Experience supporting KS1 students in a classroom setting.
  • A passion for education and child development.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills.
