Remedy Education are looking for a committed and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming and inclusive primary school in Newham.
This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who is passionate about supporting children's learning and development. You'll be working closely with the class teacher to help pupils achieve their full potential, both academically and socially, in a friendly and supportive school environment.
The role:
Support the class teacher with the delivery of engaging lessons and classroom activities
Work 1:1 or in small groups to assist pupils who need additional support
Help manage behaviour and encourage positive learning attitudes
Prepare classroom materials and support with general administrative tasks
Provide emotional and social support to pupils as required
The ideal candidate will:
Have previous experience working with children in a school setting
Be patient, proactive, and flexible in supporting pupils of all abilities
Have good communication and teamwork skills
Hold (or be willing to obtain) an Enhanced DBS certificate
Be available for a full-time, long-term position
