Location:
Sheffield (S10)
Day Rate: 95 - 105 per day
Working Hours: 8:30am - 3:30pm, Monday to Friday
Role Type: Long Term - Permanent
Start Date: As soon as possible

Long Term Futures is looking for a dedicated and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to join a mainstream secondary school in Sheffield (S10). This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who wants to contribute positively to students' education and well-being.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide personalised support to students with Special Educational Needs (SEN).
  • Collaborate with teachers to understand and address the unique learning needs of individual students.
  • Build positive relationships with students, staff, and parents to create a supportive learning environment.
  • Encourage positive behaviour and help students follow school expectations.
  • Adapt teaching methods to suit different learning styles, helping students to achieve their full potential.

Person Specification:

  • Experience working with students/young people with diverse learning needs and offering adaptive support.
  • Strong passion for education and a commitment to helping students succeed.
  • An Enhanced DBS and two professional references required for this position
