Job Description

We Require Teaching Assistant's to work within a SEND school in Liverpool, the Teaching Assistant will work with children with Moderate Learning Needs & Autism; the job role is long term and will lead to a permanent role for the right Teaching Assistant.

Teaching Assistants will work within small groups aswell as a 1:1 basis, if and when requried.

The particular school we are recruiting for cater for children who have Moderate Learning Needs, Autism, Social & Emotional Mental Health.

Pay rates are 78 per day, working hours are 8:30-15:30 and term time only, we offer free positive handling training for all of our candidates.

Responsibilities:
- Assist the lead teacher in implementing lesson plans and educational activities
- Provide support and guidance to students in and out of the classroom
- Communicate effectively with students and other staff members
- Help maintain a safe and positive learning environment
- Assist with classroom management and behavior management strategies
- Prepare materials and resources for lessons and activities
- Supervise students during lunchtime, recess, and other non-instructional periods

Experience:
- Previous experience working with children in a classroom or childcare setting is preferred
- Knowledge of early childhood development and age-appropriate teaching methods
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team
- Patience, empathy, and a genuine interest in supporting children's learning and development
