Day-to-day of the role:
- Assist in the preparation and delivery of daily classroom activities.
- Support individual students and small groups to help them meet the learning objectives.
- Work closely with the teaching staff to implement educational programs and monitor student progress.
- Assist in managing classroom behavior and ensuring a safe learning environment.
- Participate in school meetings and training sessions.
- Help with the setup and cleanup of classroom materials and activities.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Previous experience as a Teaching Assistant or similar role.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
- A patient and supportive approach to student learning.
- Enhanced DBS check (or willingness to obtain one).
- Working 1:2:1 with children desirable
