Primary Teaching Assistant - Temporary Opportunity
Daily Rate: 90- 95
We are currently seeking a dedicated Primary Teaching Assistant to support pupils across KS1 and KS2 on a temporary basis. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who enjoys working closely with children and contributing to a positive, inclusive learning environment.
In this role, you will work alongside the class teacher to support learning both in the classroom and through targeted interventions. You will provide one-to-one and small group support, particularly in key areas such as literacy and numeracy, helping pupils to build confidence and make progress.
Key responsibilities include:
Supporting the delivery of lessons under the guidance of the class teacher
Preparing learning resources and assisting with classroom displays
Offering one-to-one and small group support to pupils
Assisting children with reading and developing core literacy skills
Supporting pupils with SEN to access learning effectively
Promoting positive behaviour and supporting classroom management
Providing pastoral and emotional support when needed
Supervising pupils during break times, lunchtimes, and school activities
