TeacherActive are looking for a Special Need Teaching Assistant in Leeds to have the opportunity to work in a small village primary school. The position available is to work full time/ long term supporting children across EYFS-KS2 with a range of special needs. Deriable but not essential is someone with relevant SEND/EYFS qualifications.
This role is for someone with a nurturing and calming manner, who can keep this pupil focused and influence them to engage with positive behaviours. The school need someone to come in and create a safe and trusting relationship, allowing all pupils to progress in their learning and development.
The position is on a long-term basis, 5 days a week, 8.45- 3.30pm.
