Job Title: Social Services Healthcare SVQ Assessor (Trainee or Qualified)   Location: Central belt of Scotland - Must be flexible with travel (Home/Field based)

Salary: up to £28,000 (Depending on qualifications and experience)

Essential Criteria:

  • Must hold a minimum of a Level 4 SVQ in Social Services and Healthcare (SCQF Level 9).
  • Ideally hold a recognised Assessor award or Teaching qualification.
  • Must have occupational competency at Management level within a Social Services Healthcare setting.   
  • Must be comfortable with virtual and face-to-face delivery methods.
  • Full, clean driving licence and access to own vehicle.
  • Must be flexible with travel.

Duties include:

  • Assess and support a caseload of learners working towards SVQ's in Social Services at Level 4.
  • Managing your diary efficiently to ensure timely reviews and meetings are conducted.
  • Support learners to achieve Core Skills in Maths and English.
  • Conduct online video meetings and training sessions with learners.
  • Organise and maintain documentation on learners' progress.
  • Support, advise and motivate learners.
  • Overcome barriers to learning and adapt delivery to meet learner’s needs.
