Outreach Tutor (SEND) - English & Maths
Locations: Burnley, Nelson, Colne, Brierfield, Padiham, Barnoldswick
Pay: 27- 33 per hour
Hours: Flexible
We are recruiting Outreach Tutors to support students with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND) who are unable to access mainstream education. The role involves delivering 1:1 English and Maths tuition to help students maintain their learning and improve confidence.
Sessions are delivered either in the student's home or in a local public library. Tutors will plan and adapt lessons to meet individual needs, ensuring students remain engaged and make progress.
Requirements:
- Experience working with SEND or SEMH students
- Strong knowledge of English and/or Maths
- Ability to plan and deliver tailored lessons independently
- Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (essential)
- Access to transport preferred
