SEND Teaching Assistant (Full-time, Temporary)

Chester-le-Street, DH3

£415 - £450 per week (salary is depending on experience and/or qualifications)

September 2024 July 2025

The School and Role

Vision for Education is recruiting a SEND Teaching Assistant to work on a full-time basis at a school in Chester-le-Street (DH3), for the full academic year. The SEND Teaching Assistant selected will be working with two children in Year 4 with ASD, supporting them with all aspects of school life. Some experience of working with ASD would be preferred. This school has recently been given a Good rating from Ofsted, and strives to create a welcoming learning environment where every child can achieve.

Requirements

The desired SEND Teaching Assistant will have;

- Experience of working with primary school aged children

- Experience of working with pupils with SEND

- A passion for the progress of primary school pupils

- An ability to work as part of a team
